Our Mission
The Missouri Retired Teachers Association Foundation was established in 2001 as the charitable arm of MRTA. As an IRS-approved public charity and tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, MRTA-F is dedicated to:
- Fostering a spirit of respect, loyalty, and enthusiasm among retirees
- Conducting activities and service projects that advance the cause of public education in Missouri
- Awarding grants and scholarships to education students, active teachers, and support staff pursuing professional development
All contributions are tax-deductible for income tax purposes and estate gifts. The Foundation conducts annual independent financial audits.
