Dear MRTA Members:
THANK YOU to each and everyone who attended MRTA Legislative Day on Valentine's Day, February 14th. I witnessed a great amount of teamwork among MRTA leaders as over 550 MRTA members attended the event! What an impression we made on the State Legislature! The attendees represented the 19,700 MRTA members very, very well. It is my hope the attendees felt they were part of something much bigger as we all work to protect the pension benefits of every education retiree in the state of Missouri.
Those $35 memberships and those unit meetings by the 148 MRTA Units all ADD UP to a strong, effective MRTA. The picture below will show you the result of working together as there is STRENGTH IN NUMBERS!
