Give
There are several ways to give to MRTA-F and you can donate any time, but we hold three major fundraising programs each year:
- MRTA-F Raffle runs from January-April.
- The Silent Auction is held each year which runs concurrently with the MRTA Annual Meeting in September.
- Year-End Giving - all past donors are contacted about tax-deductible donations each November/December.

Areas of Focus
You can designate your donation to go to a specific fund you want to support. They include:
- Grants - helps fund the $500 grants to classroom teachers and support staff.
- General Fund - helps us carry out our mission to help Missouri teachers and students.
- Building Fund - helps maintain our home and fund technological advances to our organization.
- Endowment Fund - helps build a fund in which the principal cannot be spent. Interest from this fund can be used to help fund grants.
Donor Recognition
The Board has established a uniform system that recognizes all contributors. Gift categories for individuals, MRTA local units and regions, and corporations will be as follows:
- Legacy — $5,000+
- Founder — $2,500 to $4,999
- Benefactor — $1,000 to $2,499
- Shareholder — $500 to $999
- Partner — $1 to $499
All donations to MRTA-F are tax-deductible. No contribution is too small, any amount of contribution is greatly appreciated. All contributors will be acknowledged and a note of appreciation will be sent upon receipt of a Foundation contribution. In all annual reports of the Foundation, contributors will be listed individually by gift category for the year.
